This web app calculates a company's EBITDA directly from the summary page of its tax return. It was built for a commercial bank in Oklahoma after realizing that large language models like ChatGPT often produced incorrect results. Instead of accepting those limitations, I designed a simple workflow that first transcribes and structures the tax return data before passing it to the AI, allowing it to generate accurate calculations every time. This project demonstrates how the limitations of AI can be overcome with thoughtful workflow design and supporting infrastructure.
